It all started many years ago when Kenneth Wall used to visit this scenic part of Yorkshire with the Boy Scouts. He has always enjoyed the outdoors and liked an adventure! So, when Ken married Margaret in the early 1960's they continued to holiday here in the Dales. It was the perfect place for them to go on walking holidays, explore local history and relax in the peace of the dales. Over time the couple became four, tents were upgraded to a caravan, then Grandchildren arrived and the family just kept growing! Ken and Margaret now wanted to holiday in a little more luxury, somewhere you could just arrive, sit back and put the kettle on. In 1988 they found their ideal and bought it. Sadly in 2016 Kenneth passed away so now Margaret and her daughter Jacqueline keep the cottage. It is such a special place to all the family.
