Cottage Facilities.

 

Waterfall cottage is a two bedroom holiday cottage in the Yorkshire Dales that provides comfortable accommodation for up to 5 adults. Bedroom one has a double bed and an extra single bed if required. Bedroom two is a twin room. Pretty views of Walden Beck are visible from both of these rooms. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room. We do have a travel cot for our tiny guests to use. These are available on request free of charge. The bedrooms include clothes storage space.

 

The family bathroom includes a shower, extractor fan, heated towel rail and shaving socket. In the hallway is a cloak and shoe cupboard.

 

The large, spacious living room upstairs has a feature log burning stove set in a large stone fireplace, a television, free sat box, dvd player, dvds and a cabinet containing plenty of local history books, walking books, maps and leaflets from local attractions. There are also jigsaws, colouring materials, playing cards and other games for the children.

 

In the kitchen/dining room you will find;

Landline telephone  (We politely ask that you use the honesty box for landline calls only and do not call mobiles except for emergency).

Wi-Fi modem to use free. (Password is on modem).

Fridge/box freezer

Oven/hob & slow cooker

Iron and ironing board

Baby highchair (available free on request).

Wind up torch.

 

Making your way through the porch out into the back garden there is a patio set to relax on and a bbq. One private parking space is located at the side of the cottages. Ours is clearly sign posted. Please be aware that there is a right of way only through next doors back yard which leads down the steps to the car park. This is the upstairs exit/fire escape.

 

All rooms are fitted with electric night storage heaters.

A basket of logs will be provided.

Please note inside our cottage has a no smoking policy.

We do allow well behaved pets to stay free of charge.
